Thanks for dropping by!
I’m Natalie, a 37 year old, Lancashire loving glamoupuss! I’m originally from Manchester and it’s my absolute favourite city. I love to travel and I love telling people about the superfun and fabulous things I’ve done along the way. You may have also noticed I’m a big Eurovision fan…..
This is me in my winning Eurovision party costume in 2014. Can you guess which country I am?!
And then in 2017…that was it. I decided I was going to do what I’d written on my bucket list and actually go to one!
Everyone needs to go to it once, right?! So Lisbon 2018 was the first Eurovision I went to and it was AMAZING! I immediately booked and started saving for Tel Aviv 2019. I also had tickets to Rotterdam 2020, but hey, we all know what happened there right?!
I’m now planning my Italy 2022 trip.
Fun Fact #1
So on that note, what’s with this whole Eurovision thing?! Well, I always knew it was on TV, and “a thing”, and we even won it back in those days! But I only really started getting in to Eurovision when my best friend introduced me to Eurovision parties. He held a party and allocated us a country to dress up as. We had to bring food and drink from the same country, and then we would all watch the show and instead of watching the votes come in from the different European nations, we would score our friends outfits instead! It was always such a superfun night. And I really loved watching the show.
As the years of parties went on, I started listening to the songs on Spoiify before the televised final so I would already know who my favourites would be on the night. I also started watching the selection events and following other Eurovision bloggers for news. I really enjoyed the build up and realised it’s more than just one night.
Fun fact #2
I’m a professional ballroom and latin dancer. Yep, that’s me there! It was my absolute passion and I worked my way up from a medallist dancer without a partner to competing for England as an amateur, in just a few years. I trained and practiced in Birmingham and even changed my working hours at my office job so I could concentrate more on my dance career.
I competed at the highest level for a few years and then took my professional exams to teach.
But I didn’t love teaching, I loved performing. I’m such an exhibitionist tee hee! I really missed having a creative outlet and something to channel my discipline and energy into. And so after stepping back from dance, this website was born!

Do you get mad too…?
I love scrolling through instagram and looking at all the pretty pictures. But they are all of London…and it made me what I call an angrypuss.
Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE London, in fact I lived there when I was a baby as it’s where my mum is from.
But there is Sooo much more to this pretty island and our local area than our capital city and I’m mad that the North doesn’t get the limelight it deserves!
I also feel like Eurovision gets such a bad “cheesey” reputation. It combines city breaks with festivals…and not the type where you have to slum it in a tent without toilets or showers. No danger of having anything nasty poured over you either!
So I am excited to bring you some travel advice that I feel like I was missing for 30 somethings when looking for travel ideas. No one is talking about Eurovision as a festival or travel destination
